The Apocalyptic Dream Girl

I have this recurring dream where the world ends. In it, something like a cosmic bomb falls on the city and a crowd of people congregate to watch as an energetic dome of death swallows everything. Buildings crumble, flesh burns and the sky is filled with thunder. In the center of this dome, those still alive, witness the 'destruction of humanity'. I turn away from the screams of fear and wonder and start running through the empty streets, looking... I’m looking for a girl… the girl… the girl of my dreams. I want to tell her how much I love her and give her one last kiss. I know that if I can find her, we will somehow be together forever. I sometimes feel she's right behind the next corner or waiting for me on a rooftop, but I never get to her in time. I'm always too late. A blast of heat picks me up in the air and shreds me to atoms. Everything ends and I wake up. Never knowing who she is. That is the dream. Always the same. I wonder who the girl is... I wonder about her name...
