"Once upon a time
there was a little boy who liked to eat slowly. This little boy had a mean nanny
who had no patience for him, so she smacked him around to make him eat faster. One
day, she made the little boy eat so fast that he threw up his lunch. Enraged by her
dirty kitchen floor, the awful nanny made the little boy clean up his own puke… with
his tongue."
When Katsuo told me his
story, I fell silent for a moment. I knew the little boy was him. If any of us had lady parts, I would've probably
hugged him or said something apologetic. Instead, I said: "Here buddy, have another beer." Pretty soon, we were laughing our heads off over some stupid shit on the internet. Life is just fucked... Sometimes, its best to just laugh the pain away.
It's been a while since I've had any Japanese, but I'm relatively sure that whatever's on the demon nanny's shirt isn't something you'd want to repeat to any given authority figure.
ReplyDelete...It's probably not a good idea to ask how I know that.
At any rate, another good post as always. And as long as I'm here, I should thank you for putting me up for a Liebster award. Now I'm 18% more legitimate than ever.
So yeah, keep up the great work, and stay metal. d(-_-)b\m/
Poor guy :( At least later you guys managed to have a good time! :DD
ReplyDeleteVoltech - how exactly do you know that? ;) no problem and thanks man.
ReplyDeleteRiotbreather - yeah, childhood crap is always rough.
This just touches me and makes me feel sick myself. Got an awful childhood and maybe that´s the reason why I feel so empathic about this right now...
ReplyDeletei feel this story deeply, too. none of us can change the past, so i try to not let it affect my present and future.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sad story.
ReplyDeleteI could never understand how someone could be so cruel to another human being.
Even though there are some people whose necks I've dreamt of wringing, I could never actually do anything.
Also, I'm really wondering what's on that shirt now... ;)
An old saying ..."We laugh when it hurts too badly to Cry"...
ReplyDeleteYou might want to try out GotoCamera's free webcam software. GotoCamera is EASY to set up and easy to use. All you need is a webcam (a USB webcam such as those made by Logitech, Creative, etc, or even the webcam integrated into your netbook / notebook) and a Windows PC, and you’re ready to start. Once your camera is set up, you can turn on recording schedules, configure motion detection, share your camera with family, and access it from any browser, including your iPhone, so that you can remotely monitor your camera's recordings. You can watch over your children any time you wish. This is perfect for people who can't afford a nanny to watch over their kids when they're away from home. At less than $4 a month, it makes complete sense to me. Give it a shot, try their 1 week free trial and let me know how it goes :)
ReplyDeleteThat was a rude experience :C
ReplyDeleteyeah its best to just laugh the pain away.
Laury - it affects me especially when harm is being done to an innocentm, child or animal. the japanese means 'cunt'. appropriate, no? :)
ReplyDeleteDr. Theda - a pretty accurate saying.
HSC - ah! some spam, that surprisingly got through my counter-measures. this is a first.
Jessica - sometimes, it's really not worth dwelling on stuff.
I agree. Most times it's just best to treat horrible things with humor. Cool evil nanny!
ReplyDeleteHope you don't treat all issues with this sort of levity. People need some kind words, as well.
ReplyDeleteAnd love.
ReplyDeleteI'm signing on to home security camera today! Not.
ReplyDeleteGreat post my friend. I would like to see a bit of vengeance though. Oh well.
Life is a tradegy for those who feel, and a comedy for those who think. Laughter is often the best coping device.
ReplyDeleteA situation where we feel sad but forced to be in a state of no way helping,if we wish too.Beautiful would have been life if we had the power of changing things...I love the last line in this..
ReplyDeleteNietzsche - not cool at all. more like a twisted sick bitch.
ReplyDeleteElizabeth - you're absolutely right, most of the times, but occasionally its better to ease a situation with some humor than to dwell on that we can't change.
David - thanks. me too, but she moved a long time ago and he lost contact with her.
Jorg - yeah, i think you're right.
Basil - thanks. sometimes the best help we can offer is help our friends forget the problems they can't fix.
Pretty harsh story. She really does look like a bitch. Really good drawing!
ReplyDeletebitch is too kind a word. thanks.
